LAPD Recruit Detention Officer Graduation Exercises : 20 graduated, 2 of which are from Hawthorne Police Department and 1 from the Santa Monica Police Department. Uniform Inspection was conducted by James P. Mc Donnell, 1st Assistant Chief of Police accompanied by Capt. Patrick K. Findley, Commander Kirk Albanese, Commander Terry K. Hara, Deputy Chief Snchez representing Santa Monica Police Department and Captain Beerling representing Hawthorne Police Department. Capt. Patrick K. Findley gave introduction. Invocation by Rabbi Chaim Kolodny. Family members and friends were present to witness the occasion. Recruit Class Speech was delivered by Detention Officer Salvador Vasquez.
